5 Levels - D&D 5e Homebrew

5 Levels is a homebrew ruleset I wrote up after a friend told me about the E6 system for D&D 3.5. The idea was that the prime power level for D&D campaigns was around 6th level. I thought that was super interesting and decided to write up my own version for D&D 5e.

Basically, the idea is that when you hit 5th level, a PC stops levelling up as normal. Instead XP becomes a currency you can spend to buy any feature or ability that you want to add to your character. This allows you to completely customize the way your character advances.

I ran this for one campaign and my players seemed to enjoy it. So, hopefully you'll get some fun out of it.
